365 Days Worth Waiting For: Part 2

From The Dream

Starring: Goldie Heart, Bluey

Christmas Eve Eve

 Goldie woke up from her nap. "I have to tell Bluey about my dream!" she said.

 "Bluey, where are you?" said Goldie Heart.

 "I'm here!" said Bluey.

"I had a very weird dream." said Goldie Heart.

"Tell me about it." said Bluey.

"Well, I was talking to Pavelec and then I started singing LoveGame and then I was talking to Pavelec again. I don't remember the rest."

"Well, maybe it was because they were watching something about Pavelec, then put on LoveGame, then watched the thing about Pavelec again?"

"I see."

"I need to talk to you about something else."

 

They passed my Moose sign I made for Johan Hedberg.

"He's an okay goalie." said Goldie Heart.

"You used to hate his guts." said Bluey. "You hated him like you hate Chris Mason now. You will always hate the other goalie, whoever he is."

"The thing is, you shouldn't hate the other goalies." said Bluey. "Even though you say they are 'ugly' or 'stealing Pavelec's job' they help him out."

"Why?" said Goldie Heart.

"Because, if Pavelec allowed too many goals-"

"He never does that."

"Well, they would give him a break so he could make more maskless saves or 5-saves-in-a-rows. They aren't too bad."

"They stink."

"Don't think that. Just think of them as clone Pavelecs. That would make it better."

"Okay."

As of this posting, the snow has gone up to an inch. We might see 18 inches, but I hope not.
